Speaking of Audiobooks: A BIG December Giveaway

Watching romance audio releases on a daily basis as I’m prone to do, I’m always a little amazed at the number of choices offered to today’s listener. Tantor Audio continues to play a large role in those offerings with a healthy number of monthly first-time-in-audio releases and a dedication to providing above-average listens. With the Holiday season upon us and 2014 winding down, I thought it the perfect time to take a look at some of Tantor’s recent and Coming Soon romance offerings. And then, we’re wrapping it all up in a big giveaway.

The Giveaway

We’re giving away five romance audiobooks to TWO winners courtesy of Tantor Audio. The winners will each choose five audiobooks (either as downloads directly from Tantor or MP3 CDs) from the fifteen (15) titles featured below. All titles are newer releases or Coming Soon. If the winner chooses a Coming Soon title, it will be available on or after the audio release date. Please note that all of these titles are now available as downloads as well as MP3 CDs – a recent change at Tantor.

Enter by following the easy entry link below by 11:59 p.m. eastern standard time on Thursday, December 4th. The giveaway is open only to listeners in the U.S. and Canada. We encourage your comments in our discussion area but to enter, you must follow the entry link. The List of Titles

Soon Pamela Clare’s entire backlist will be available in audio format. The last three titles include Sweet Release (just released) Carnal Gift (December 23^rd), and Ride the Fire (January 20^th). All of Clare’s titles are narrated by the impressive Kaleo Griffith which is sure to bring in listeners as well. Winners may choose one, two, or all three of these Clare titles.

For those who enjoy New Adult, Xe Sands narrates Angela Graham’s new-to-audio Harmony series. The first two books in the series are in the Coming Soon category with Inevitable scheduled for December 16th and Irreplaceable for January 6th. Winners may choose one or both of these titles.

Tantor wisely chose Kirsten Potter, narrator of The Spymaster’s Lady (Penguin 2010) to continue narrating Joanna Bourne’s books when they started publishing a number of her titles earlier this year. Offered with this giveaway is Book 5 in the Spymasters series, Rogue Spy.

Another long running series in audio format, is Thea Harrison’s Elder Races series with Sophie Eastlake narrating. Book 7, Night’s Honor, takes us further into this paranormal world and is another choice for today’s giveaway.

During November, we were excited to see two more audio releases from Sherry Thomas’ backlist – Not Quite a Husband narrated by Anne Flosnik and His at Night narrated by Kate Reading. Winners may choose one or both titles

And the story continues with Book 7 in Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter series, Archangel’s Shadows. Over at our Romance Audiobooks Goodreads group, a number of listeners are gearing up for a group listen of this series so check it out if you want to join in.

Series seem to be the way things are done in romance these days. Although Jennifer Ashley’s Rules for a Proper Governess narrated by Angela Dawe is Book 7 in her Highland Pleasures series, it’s my impression that each of this series’ entries work well as stand-alone listens.

Narrator Angela Dawe makes our list again – this time with paranormal romance. Authors Ilona Andrews, Lisa Shearin, Nalini Singh, and Milla Vane join together in the Night Shift anthology.

Grace Burrowes’ print books carry a high average grade here at AAR and from what I have seen, her audiobooks are admired as well. I can understand that sentiment, especially with Roger Hampton’s narration of these two upcoming novellas – The Courtship (January 6th) and The Duke and His Duchess (January 13th). The two novellas count as one choice for the winners.

Contemporary romance served up hot, Hillbilly Rockstar by Lorelei James finishes out our list of choices today. Scarlet Chase effectively performs this tale of a country music star and his female bodyguard.
