Which Ones Do You Play?
My father in law received a tablet for Christmas. Since then I have played numerous games of Words with Friends and Draw Something with him. I also play my brother in law but since he is a nasty cheat :-) I don’t like to think about that. Those are the only games I play right now and family are the only people I play because honestly, it is way too easy to lose hours to internet games. But I would love to have the time to explore more games.
Lots of people I know have been playing Candy Crush Saga. Others have apparently built alternate lives in Farmville. My oldest son loves to play Angry Birds: Star Wars on his iPhone. My dad has stuck to old school and can play hours of solitaire on his computer. My neices and nephew like 21 Questions on Facebook. I’ll be honest and say these games can be thoroughly addictive for me. They are just so darn fun and many, many tens of minutes can pass as I try to come up with the perfect word that will help me beat my opponent. And they are also convenient. I don’t have to be right in front of the person to play them. They can take their time to come up with a response and I can take mine and neither of us has to wait in “real time” on the other.
What about you? Do you play any on line games? If so, which ones?

Like Cindy I’ve gone through all kinds of Facebook games. I’ve given up all of them except Castle Age. It’s not a very time consuming game at all. Use up my stamina and energy in the morning, hit it again for about 5 minutes in the evening and that’s it. Been playing it for nearly four years, so I guess I’m addicted?
I have finally weaned myself off of all Facebook games – it’s there, I played it. Yoville, cityville, farmville, frontierville – and boy, I was addicted. Crops can die and you have all these goals that you need do to get to another level. The worst was Zoo World – I left an older computer running for days to get money to grow. It was ridiculous.
The last game I was playing was Bubble Safari and I can’t promise I’m not done as I enjoy figuring out how to beat a level but lately, I just don’t click on it.
I have to say I have more free time but I’m worried about what my next addiction will be. I’m hoping it has more to do with my TBR pile than anything on the computer!

Several years ago I was encouraged by friends to play Cityville on FB. I had no idea what to do and other players kept stomping on my character. That was it for games for me.
I like those games, too. The best newer one I’ve found recently is called Where’s My Water? the premise is silly, but the game requires thought and has the cutest graphics. Bag It and Green Jelly are also fun.
