The perfect Summer read!
I love reading. I wish I could do it for a living. I especially enjoy all romance types- historical, contempory, paranormal, mystery, suspense. I just finished The Fortune Hunter by Jasmine Haynes.
Always looking for a new author to read……cannot wait to retire to be able to read even more….must have over 100 TBR! Right now I am reading Grisham’s ‘ The Associate’ and find it riveting…intrigueing!
Sorry if I posted several times ignore… The website doesn’t seem to post.
I usually read all the new books that come out. During lulls I always fall back on my favorites: Rereading the In Death series (JD Robb/Nora Roberts) and my favorite N.R. trilogy – Three Sisters Island.
I am always looking for new authors to love!
I usually reread the Dorothy Garlock over this summer, unless the kids want to make alot of trips to library, and then I just see whats new to me there.
My favorite summer reads are a good historical romance, like Kleypas, otherwise my reads are paranormal romances. Last year I took “”Perfect For The Beach”” to the beach, and although I was basking in the sand and sun while reading, I swear I was burned by the heat in that book! And all those lovely men walking my home Daytona Beach. That was a fun day!
Thanks for the contest.

Hi Toni! I just love your books! I read all the time also, so I don’t have a fav beach read! I just finished Crash into Me by Jill sorenson and it was awesome. I highly recommend it. I would love to win your new book. Have a great summer
Every summer I reread Nora Robert’s “”Born In Fire””, “”Born In Ice””, and “”Born In Shame””. Still think these are her best older books!
Beth T.
My favorite read for this summer is Gotcha by Christie Craig. Have a great day.
My favorite summer reads are usually contemporaries (Barbara Delinsky, Nora Roberts, etc.) or YA fantasy.
Always loving those summer reads
I would love to read a new author and this looks like a good book.
My favorite summer read is The Summerhouse by Jude Deveraux.
This would be a new author for me! One of my favorite summer books is the Crusie/Mayer book “”Agnes and the Hitman””. It always makes me laugh.
Favorite summer read: Paradise by Judith McNaught
A great summer read: The Spellman Files, by Lisa Lutz
“”One Reckless Summer”” sounds like a fun read.
This summer I plan to reread “”This Duchess of Mine””. I read it quickly because I just wanted to know how Jemma’s story would work out. In a month or so, I want to reread it just for the pleasure of it – the wit and humor.

A great summer read is Come Summer by Sandra Steffen. I highly recommend Life Happens by the same author, too, but you’ll need a big box of Kleenex by your side with this one. It tugs at the heart.
This summer I’m rereading Mary Balogh’s Slightly series. I’m looking forward to new Julia Quinn, Lisa Kleypas, and Diana Gabaldon (although the latter two are technically being released in autumn… on the same day, too!)
Hi, my favorite summer read is the Harry Potter series. I’ve been a bit behind on them and have 1 more left I think!
I would love a copy of this book having heard so many great things. My favorite summer read is Loretta Chase.
Not a contest entry — I was the lucky reviewer for this great book — but I wanted to add my fave summer reads to the list. This summer I plan on re-reading some of my old favorites set in warm places, like “”Absolute Trouble”” by Michelle Jerott, and “”Be My Baby”” by Susan Andersen.
I want this book sooo bad – LOL. My favorite summer reads are anything by Susan Wiggs or Barbara Delinsky.
I loved Toni Blake’s “”Tempt Me Tonight”” and I’m excited to read more by her!
I usually do a lot of glomming during the summer since I never take summer classes, but, at some point, I always end up re-reading my Meg Cabot books, specifically the Queen of Babble series and the Princess Diaries. They’re always so much fun to go back to!
Toni Blake’s book looks like a great read. She’s a new author for me. An annual read for me is Crusie’s Bet Me…always funny, delightful and a great way to relish the joy of reading.
I like to re-read Death in Cyprus, Death in Kashmir, and Death in Zanzibar by MM Kaye in the summer because they have romance and far-away locations in warm places.
I save the best for summer, this month I’ll take SEP’s newest “”What I Did for Love””. Thanks for putting my name in the hat!
Whatever I grab from my TBR pile is my favorite summer read. I am presentky reading The Inn At Eagle Point by Sherryl Woods.

I love Toni Blake’s book – I’ve read everything of hers and loved them all. Would definitely love to win a book!
Favorite summer reads? I enjoy nothing too intense (romantic suspense with nasty bad guys) or dark – I leave those for the winter months. I like romances such as Erin McCarthy’s latest – Hard and Fast – easy to read, well written, and a hot cover!
Re-reading Georgette Heyer and the Regency summer short story collections … fingers crossed: this one is one my wish-list for sure :)
I am going through withdrawals waiting for the fourth book. I plan to do a re-read of
Thierry’s Angel,

Only One Reckless Summer? I’ve had more than one! Anyway, this book sounds so good I have added it to my TBR list.
So far, my favorite summer read was Finger Lickin Fifteen by Janet Evanovich and Rescue Me by Christy Reece.

I have to second Welcome to Temptation…great book and perfect for a good summer read. I like to stay fairly light, romantic and modern for the summer. And historicals are my favorites, so go figure;)

One Reckless Summer is sooooo good! Intense and sexy and funny and sweet. Just a wonderful read. Don’t enter me in the drawing. I just wanted to gush:)
I’m a year round reader, but I do love to read small town stories at the beach. Though for some reason last summer, without planning it, I ended up reading three books in a row set in Alaska…
My favorite summer read is Susan Andersen’s “”Just For Kicks.””
I read the first sixty pages and really enjoyed them. My favorite summer reads are any new young adult books I’ve been waiting for to read during the school year.
This sounds like a great book! I read year round and it doesn’t matter what I am reading. I do tend to do more anthologies in the summer because of being busy doing things. Shorter stories help with that. I am reading The Diamonds Of Welbourne Manor and really enjoying it.
