Today is the Last Day to Vote in the Annual Reader Poll
And, as one of our commenters noted, no bitching about the results is allowed if you don’t vote.

And to add to what Tee wrote, your ballot doesn’t have to include six different favorite books from 2008. You could vote for one book in the favorite romance category, favorite heroine, and favorite couple. You could then vote for a second book in favorite funny, favorite hero, and favorite series romance. Six categories, but just two different books that you really enjoyed from 2008.
Personally, I would like to encourage anyone who’s hesitating to vote because they feel their picks appear to be so out-of-step with the interim results (those were my thoughts before voting, so I can identify with that particular mind-set). My suggestion to you would be to avoid looking again at those midway results and vote YOUR favorite books in the listed categories. Okay, maybe it won’t make a big difference; but maybe it will, too, especially if everyone casts their votes no matter what other books have already shown up so far on the list. If not, at least you can say you voted your favs.
I think most of us can come up with at least six picks that we enjoyed thru the year. If not, then at least you attempted.
Many of the categories are still unbelievably close!
