Hope is alive for the Twinkie and not so much for the greedy scalpers. For you entertainment today, check out ebay where the cost of Twinkies are outrageous. One listing for twenty one million states:

Next up is the scandal that rocked the CIA. Paula Broadwell, General Petraeus and Jill Kelley have all hired either crisis management teams or P.R. Firms. It is not like having an adulterous affair is anything new. I don’t think that information is the most damaging information that has come out of all this. Jill Kelley hasn’t fared well, with the fact that the money for the charity she started was all used for entertainment, and travel expenses. The fact that Paula sent anonymous messages warning people about Jill makes me question her mental status. And General Petraeus just falls under the “there is no fool like an old fool.” So how is a P.R. firm going to white wash this?

Those people who are stockpiling Twinkies if they had bought that many when the company was still viable……….

I know. If Broadwell hadn’t sent the message then the whole affair might not have been discovered. Which is not right – I am not saying that they didn’t deserve to be caught but their poor families with all this publicity.

I was disappointed to read that the mediation failed – not that this is going to change my buying habits – but I just don’t want anyone to make a killing off a company going out of business.

Re the Petraeus affair, I just don’t get it. He was head of the CIA and he had time to have an affair? And I know he’s not the first person in a position of power to engage in extracurricular activities while on the job. Obviously these people are being paid WAY too much salary if they have so much free time while at work.

I can only think that the listers want the publicity on e-bay, not that they truly think someone is stupid enough to spend that type of money. Like the woman who put her soul up for sale on e-bay. I heard that Little Debbie is not doing so great either – but that could just be a rumor. And honestly, I like Hostess much better than Little Debbie’s. And all this news about Twinkies is making me want to go out and buy a box- although there are probably not any left on the shelf.

This whole hostess thing is traumatic enough without these societal leeches behaving this way. Thank God for Little Debbie. :-) At least one firm will still be baking extremely unhealthy but delicious goodness.
