Singers that others love but you can't stand

For me, Björk is such a singer. I don’t mind her as an artist or public personality, I just can’t stand her singing. My only thought, whenever my husband listens to the one Björk CD that he owns (thankfully, no more than that) is: Can someone please stop this caterwauling NOW?
Are there singers whose voices/performance you dislike so intensely that you find it painful to listen to them?

The Avenged Sevenfold. My brother loves their music, I shudder.
My husband loves Nine Inch Nails but I can’t stand it. Almost all their songs are like nails on a chalkboard for me. He hates all country though and I enjoy some of it so we mostly try and listen to that music when apart and find stuff we both like when we are together.
Any song by Smashing Pumpkins makes me change the station immediately. Billy Corgan’s voice is like nails on a chalkboard.
The lead singer from Sugarland also drives me bonkers. Don’t know what it is about her voice but, man, I can’t change the station fast enough.
It’s funny what we find enjoyable vs intolerable. I love bluegrass music but a friend of mine did indeed literally leave the room when I was listening to Alison Krauss & Union Station’s version of “I’m Blue, I’m Lonesome”. And she blasts techo music which makes me clutch my ears in pain.
I don’t leave the room when a bad song comes on — I have a remote for my stereo so I just change the channel. :)
Lady Gaga is a singer whom I have a rough time watching and listening to. I’ve somewhat changed my attitude toward her, though, since I’ve seen her mentor on the Idol show last year. But for the most part, she does turn me off. When Madonna was popular (and she grew up only a few miles away from where I live), I had a similar reaction to her. I’m sure the persona Lady Gaga portrays lends to that reaction from me. Nonetheless, it’s there. When I hear her on the radio while driving, the voice still doesn’t do much for me even without the visuals.
Are they bad enough so that you must leave the room? ;-) Can you give an example?
I can’t think of any singers at the moment but there are tons of songs that I cannot stand.
