I’m constantly amazed at how many books are published every month. Thanks for taking the time to make the lists!

I’ve enjoyed SEP’s Chicago Stars series, so I’ll eventually pick up the new one (probably not right away). I’m looking forward to Eowyn Ivey’s follow-up to The Snow Child, which I loved.

I just noticed that the first Stars book, It Had to Be You, is no longer available as an e-book. I wonder why.

It has been rereleased with the worst cover ever in that there is nothing on this cover that says Phoebe Summerville. Nothing.

I’ve read First Star I See Tonight and loved it. The heroine and hero are well-matched and the dialogue sparkles. Great stuff.

I’ll be interested what people think about it. It has a very different feel to me that the earlier Stars books.

I agree about the different feel – definitely not one of SEP’s tortured heroines. But I really liked her snarky, matter-of-fact attitude.

Very interested to read reviews of Susan Elizabeth Phillips’s _First Star I See Tonight_.

Some of these might technically be considered Sept releases. I don’t remember how the cutoff works.

Thank you ,Bessie. I always look forward to your lists of upcoming titles. I would hate to miss out on a favourite author’s new release.
