Looking for New Music

I have gotten out of the habit of listening to music. About the only time I do so is when I am exercising.  It is difficult for me to find artists that I like. I am not into country or rap and it seems that the music I like is from the 1990’s or early 2000’s – artist like Lisa Stansfield, Natalie Merchant, Tracy Chapman, Oleta Adams, Leona Lewis. So tonight I went searching for some music. And I did find some possibilities.

And here is an oldie.

Better in Time by Leona Lewis

I think I like this song as well or better than the others.

So what do you think? Do you like any of the songs? Do you have the same problem of finding music you enjoy? Any recommendations?

Thank you for another informative site. Where else may just I get that type of info written in such a perfect means? I have a project that I am simply now working on, and I have been on the glance out for such info.

I’ve heard some good songs on Smash and after reading episode recaps on Entertainment Weekly, I find out who did the original song. :)

I do listen to country and oldies (70s, 80s, 90s) and classical. Not much is “new” in the classical front as to composers though.

Do love the new Carrie Underwood song though, Blown Away.

My recommendation is – have kids! LOL! My sons have me listening to the radio regularly while in the car, which translates into my running into new music I like on a regular basis. Right now I like “Wide Awake” by Katy Perry, The Wanted’s “Glad You Came” and One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful”. The kids are horrified by my music choices, btw. These are the songs they didn’t want to listen to.
