Karen Ranney Giveaway!

When readers think of emotional reads, Karen Ranney’s name is often mentioned. She even did a piece here at AAR on the two-hanky read. Karen Ranney’s latest book, A Scotsman in Love, has just been released by Avon. If you’d like a chance to win it, along with a copy of The Devil Wears Tartan and signed bookplates, just comment to this post by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, May 7, 2009. A few caveats: This contest is open only to U.S. residents. Also, this contest is designed to get books into the hands of readers who would not otherwise have them, so if you review for another website and have access to the ARCs or finished books through that site, please don’t enter. We can’t fully police this, so use the honor system.

Now, let’s get commenting!

Hi Karen! I just stopped by your website and I noticed that you have many books which take place in Scotland. Are you of Scottish Heritage? I studied abroad at the University of Glasgow and I absolutly fell in love with Scotland, I still try to visit every few years. Anyway, please enter me into your contest as I would love to win your books!

I have read an excerpt of A SCOTSMAN IN LOVE, and it was very intriguing. It hooked me from the very first sentence. Karen is such a descriptive writer that I felt like I was right in the scene with the characters.

I’ve glommed most of Karen’s books based on recommendations in AAR. Alas, they are sitting in my TBR pile. Life has a nasty way of getting in the way of reading.
