I looked it up (thank you, YouTube!) and like it more and more.
For one thing, many ballads appeal to me. And with this song, I also appreciate the lyrics. I was in the position described in the song once: A former boyfriend had found love again and founded a family, while I was still single. So I can really relate to the singer’s ambivalent attitude. (The person who was happiest for me when I met my husband was that former boyfriend, by the way.)
Are there songs that touch a certain something in you because you have been there? Which are they?

Enjoyed Adele perform a few times. Fantastic!
As far as me being a member here, I didnt even know that I was a member here. When the article was published I received a username and password, so that I could participate in the discussion of the post, That would explain me stumbuling upon this post. But we’re certainly all intellectuals.
I simply needed to appreciate you once more. I do not know what I might have achieved in the absence of the points contributed by you about my subject. It was before a difficult condition for me personally, nevertheless looking at your skilled approach you treated it made me to jump over delight. Now i am happier for your guidance as well as sincerely hope you realize what a powerful job you were providing educating people today all through your blog. Most probably you have never come across all of us.
I find Adele absolutely beautiful. When it comes to natural beauty, give me Adele any day over…well, over many of the other touted lovelies. And this song just about breaks my heart. I think this live version, with the melodic difference in the chorus, is even better than the official radio edit, which I find just a touch too fast. I really, really hope her voice gets better – it would be a shame to lose her voice.
As to your actual question, the first one that came to mind is Feist’s “Mushaboom” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYF0qU5WSew&ob=av3e). I absolutely empathize with “It may be years until the day/my dreams will match up with my pay”, and yearning for an “Old dirt road/knee-deep snow/watching the fire as we grow/old”. Good song.
I like the video for Rolling in the Deep, too! I really like the video for Someone Like You that she sings in her home: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAc83CF8Ejk
And another favorite of mine is Norah Jones’ video for Sinking Soon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYywXhixVW0
Great sounds!
Wow, thanks for all the links!
I don’t know if this official video but her is another version:

And in a late recognition of Veterans Day the an Air Force band did a great cover:

I love her voice, but this song is too sad for me to listen to on a regular basis. I love her in Rolling in Deep:
