Eagerly Awaited March Books

I can’t believe we’re already thinking about spring releases! But, March is just around the corner. Judging by the list of books we here at AAR are eager to try, I think it’s fair to say that Deanna Raybourn’s historical novels have our attention. Spring is bringing a variety of interesting-sounding books in other subgenres as well, and there seem to be more category romances than usual catching our eyes. So, what are you looking forward to in March?

The latest C.S. Harris’s mystery book and Meredith Duran comes out in March as well. I already ordered the Barbara Hambly.

This strange publishers rule is very confusing for me, I can never know if the realeases are considered of one month or another if they come out in the last days of a month.
So I’m not sure if these books are March releases or not, but I will mention them anyway, as I don’t see them in AAR list:
– the new J.D. Robb: ‘Concealed in Death’ (02/25).
– ‘Feral Heat’ by Jennifer Ashley (03/18).
– ‘Waking the Dead’ by Heather Graham (03/25).

Regarding the Julie Anne Long book, generally late month releases are considered releases for the following month. Since the Long book will be released on 3/25, it would be considered an April release. I’m not entirely sure why that is, but that’s the reason it was not listed by any of the staff in this post. I know that several of us are looking forward to that one! :)

I’m looking forward to:
Undead Pool — Kim Harrison (2/25)
Concealed in Death — J.D. Robb (2/18)
Outcast Dead — Elly Griffiths (3/11)
Why Kings Confess — C.S. Harris (3/4)
Carolina Man — Virginia Kantra (3/4)
With the exception of Carolina Man, I won’t call these books strictly romance, but they all have romantic elements.

Definitely the new Julie Anne Long, I’m surprised it’s not on the list ;) Also, the reissue of Carla Kelly’s Reforming Lord Ragsdale.

I never heard of BJ Daniels so I’ll look forward to the review of that book. Thanks! The only other March books that I have on my list will be released on the 25th: Between the Devil and Ian Eversea (Pennyroyal Green) by Julie Anne Long and Three Weeks With Lady X (Desperate Duchesses) by Eloisa James.
