Eagerly Awaited June Romances
I’ve noticed that time slip books have been having a moment (hopefully it will be a long one), and one of the masters has a book out this June. Quite a few of us here at AAR have been eagerly awaiting Susanna Kearsley’s latest release for months on end now, and the big day is almost here! We have some romantic suspense fans here, too, and we’re all anticipating Jill Sorenson’s latest release. And, given that we all have varied tastes, there are books on everyone’s lists that span most subgenres of romance. June is looking to be a busy reading month!

Usually it’s caused by the fire displayed in the article I looked at. And after this article Eagerly Awaited June Romances
I’m late to get on the Susanna Kearsley bandwagon but thanks to so many of your recommendations I’m currently listening to The Shadowy Horses and am thoroughly enjoying it.
I usually read Neal Gaiman’s books as they come out, but may wait until ebook prices come down ($14-15 USD for a new ebook is asking a bit much). I’m also really interested in “”She Rises”” by Kate Worsley (the style of that cover reminds me of covers I’ve seen for other nautical fiction releases). Unfortunately, the ebook also falls in that unfortunate price range.
Julie Anne Long’s “”It Happened One Midnight”” is due out 6/25, and Mary Balogh’s paperback version of “”The Proposal”” on 5/28.
The Long is coming out 6/25, but it’s technically classified as a July release. I know quite a few of us will be looking for it, though!
Her Last Breath by Linda Castillo is coming out on June 18.
I’ll want that too. Sigh. Leigh Bardugo also has Seige and Storm coming out June 4. Stealing the Preacher Karen Witemeyer and Trouble in Store Carol Cox are Inspys coming out June 1. Together Tea Marjan Kamali is a romance involving an Iranian American family which I ordered because it sounded different and intriguing. I’ll be doing my June reading straight into July!
Whatwhat?! I didn’t realize that about Leigh Bardugo’s book. Shadow and Bone was so good! I got it based on your review @maggie b. and absolutely loved it.
So glad you liked it! I am always nervous for book two – will it be as good as book one or will I wind up pulling my hair out wondering if the author became a crack addict between novels? Hopefully, this will be an awesome second book.
