Eagerly Awaited January Books
Looking at each month’s list of new releases gives me a little thrill every time I do it. Still, there’s something special about the start of a fresh, new year. Everything seems full of promise – including the book lists. Judging by our staff’s reaction to the January 2011 Romances on Sale list, we all have our hearts set on quite a few books – including one novel that drew the eyes of no less than 8 of us. Given our rather divergent tastes, the books we’re looking for run the gamut from historicals to suspense to paranormal, but it looks like January just may be a month to savor.

@SarahT – I’m definitely with you on looking forward to the new Nesbo mystery. Devil’s Star is the most recent US edition (and it’s in hardback), so I suspect I’ll be getting the UK edition of The Leopard. I’m still (slowly) reading The Redeemer and it is fabulous!
I’m looking forward to ‘The Leopard’ by Jo Nesbo, ‘Shadowfever’ by Karen Marie Moning, ‘Call Me Irresistible’ by Susan Elizabeth Phillips and ‘Mercy Kill’ by Lori Armstrong.
Was there and “”Eagerly Awaited”” post for December releases?
I just read How to Marry a Duke, and it was wonderful! Nanette has picked a winner there.
I’m also looking forward to the Carla Kelly. And if we can make a wish list, I wish Susan Kay Law and Maureen McKade were coming out with new books. (Not to put any pressure on them of course! LOL)
I’m very excited to see that Carla Kelly has a new book coming out. I’m still hoping for reissues of previous titles.
I’m also looking forward to SEP’s book, along with these 3:
Chasing the Sun-Kaki Warner
Night Betrayed-Joss Ware
The Darling Strumpet (about Nell Gwyn)-Gillian Bagwell
Wow Leigh – it is scheduled for the 18th. How did we miss that? It definitely is one I’m eagerly anticipating!
Wow. . . .no one is looking forward to Susan Elizabeth Phillips book (Teddy’s story) Call Me Irresistible?????
That book is first on my list for Jan.
