Eagerly Awaited December Books
For December, I think many of us are planning to catch up on our reading and do some Christmas gift shopping. Though we’ve had a good reading year by and large, for some reason there just don’t seem to be as many books this month catching our staffers’ eyes from upcoming December releases. That’s not to say that there aren’t some good options. Most of us found a book or two to long for, and several of us here are anticipating Jo Goodman’s new release in particular. As we head into the holidays, hope everyone has a season of good reading!

Can’t wait for Jo Goodman’s Marry Me she is my all time favorite romance author. Too bad she only writes about one book a year I have to wait so long betwen reads. looking forward to Jean Wan’s review too .
Only just saw this message. Flattered that you’re looking forward to my review, but there’s no guarantee that I’m reviewing it. Actually, I’m pretty sure I’m not. You can check our “”Reviews in Progress”” page here, which is updated, to see who will be reviewing the book.

I’m looking forward to Lorraine Heath’s “”Pleasures of a Notorious Gentleman”” (due out November 30).
Two books not listed that I have some level of interest in are THE HEIR by debut author Grace Burrowes and EXPLOSIVE by Beth Kery.
Just finished TEN WAYS . . . and I was a bit underwhelmed. I really enjoyed NINE RULES . . . but found the follow-up not as charming or amusing. I am still looking forward to Juliana’s book though . . .
I love the cover for “”Stranger.”” The artist totally got the characters right.
It seemed to me that the Christmas-themed releases were a lot sparser this year, though it shouldn’t really seem that way to me because I purchased about 20 (!) from Harlequin in October. But certainly fewer single-title releases.
