Eagerly Awaited August Books
As always, all of us at AAR found books across a variety of subgenres to pique our curiosity for August. It does seem to be a big month for contemporaries, though. With new releases from Lisa Kleypas, Molly O’Keefe, Susan Andersen and several others, our contemporary fans here at the site are giving historical fans a run for their money. I’m happy to see so many good books coming out just in time for the lazy (or at least lazier) days of summer. What do you want to read before fall sets in?

Leslie – We generally post new reviews on Saturday, but we let everyone who blogs have the weekend off as pretty much everyone who volunteers here at the site has a full-time job. We love romance, but we like to have lives offline as well. Sometimes we’re around online and commenting but it also lets folks travel, read, and unplug a little bit if they want to.

DOES ANYONE AT AAR WORK WEEKENDS? MAYBE SOMEONE NEW WOULD LIKE TO BLOG SAT/SUN. SOME FRESH MATERIAL? BASICALLY AAR STAYS THE SAME FRI THRU SUN AND THAT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE TO ME.
