Born This Way
The long wait is over. I’ve replayed “The Fame Monster” so many times on my iPod, I’m sort of sick of even my beloved Bad Romance. Finally, we have something new from Lady GaGa: the title single from her forthcoming album, Born This Way.
The single was released today (Friday) after much anticipation and twitter hashtagging, and upon my first listen, I’ve got to say: amazing. It does not disappoint.
What do you think?

This song is absolutely an anthem. And what a way to follow up the Fame Monster. Wasn’t sure how I felt about gaga at first…now I know, she is absolutely amazing and a cultural icon.
Yeah, a lot of people are saying that… but in the end, it’s still an amazing song.
Huh. I’m not the only one.

Lady GaGa is talented. I like Bad Romance, too. There’s something about this melody that brought to mind Madonna’s Express Yourself. Not sure what it is, but it did.
Lady GaGa wouldn’t have gotten half the attention she has without her “act.” It’s hard for those of us who aren’t in our teens or twenties to get past it, but, once you do, there is real talent there.
