I received an ARC of EVERYONE IS BEAUTIFUL and it’s a wonderful story. Nothing flashy or fancy, but a quiet and lovely book with a lot of humor and poignancy. And what I loved most about this women’s fiction book is that no one has to die or be stricken by a horrible disease in order for the author to achieve that depth of character. Any woman with children, especially stay-at-home moms, will really connect with the main character and the relationship with her husband is one that reignites hope that true love isn’t easy in real life, but it happens.

I can’t wait for Sins of Lord Easterbrook! I’ve read all of Madelline Hunter’s book and this is the last one in a series!

I also looking forward to SEP’s What I Did For Love, Kristin Higgin’s To Good to Be True, and Connie Brockway’s Enchanted. I plan on reading Robyn Carr’s book too, but I have mixed emotions about it. The plot of young womanloses her husband while pregnant, and finds a new love is a theme that I don’t really like. Usually I can’t suspend believe that they could let go of the old love so quickly while still pregnant with his child.

A lot of the other books, I hadn’t heard about, and it was interesting to click on the covers, and read the blurbs.

I’m a late comer to Patricia Briggs but I’m getting caught up and enjoying the glut :)

Sharon Ashwood’s Ravenous (disclaimer — she’s a friend, but the monsterpedia on her website alone will convince you that I’m not being excessively partial) also comes out in February.

SEP and Robyn Carr definitely, and of course Dogs and Goddesses by Crusie, et al – although I must admit that I’m not as excited about that one because it’s a collaboration. Kristan Higgins is a maybe.

I don’t know whether it will appear on the book but I gave a blurb to SCANDAL by Carolyn Jewel. I thought it was a beautiful story.

I’m counting down the days until the release of Dark of Night by Suzanne Brockmann (29 to go!)

I will certainly add these to my list!
