Eagerly Awaiting in June

Every month, I’m always curious to see which books are generating the most interest around here. Usually there’s a book or two that has lots of staffers looking for it. This June, we have plenty of reads that sound promising, but there’s a three-way tie for the book that interests the most staffers. We have a lot we want to read, but it looks like our staff is especially looking forward to the newest releases from Julia Quinn, Rachel Gibson and Carla Kelly. What about you?

As an animal fan, I loathe to admit that I like puppies just a little more than kittens. They’re just so cute and affectionate. I’m a cat fan, however puppies merely manage to be more engaging. If they just weren’t so much problem I would certainly adopt a puppy right now.

It looks like a great month for reading and I would like to add the long awaited Dark Knight by Elizabeth Elliott, June 26th.

There are more than several that I’m looking forward to reading. However, the ones that I’ve most been anxiously awaiting are: Linda Castillo’s “”Gone Missing”” and Karen Rose’s “”No One Left to Tell.”” And they tell me that publishers are advising their authors that readers don’t want romantic suspense anymore — well I beg to differ!!

The three books I’m excited about all release on June 26:
Elizabeth Hoyt’s Thief of Shadows
Loretta Chase’s Scandal Wears Satin
Karen Ranney’s A Scandalous Scot

The Carla Kelly ePub can be purchased directly from the Harlequin eBook store right now – they always offer titles a month in advance. So no waiting on that one if ePub is your format of choice.
