Eagerly Awaiting in February
This month, as I looked over the staff picks from the February 2012 release list, I noticed something that was a little unusual. No one book grabbed the attention of many. Usually we have 1 or 2 books each month that catch most of our eyes, but not this time. This seems to be the month we’re all going off in our own separate directions readingwise. Lauren Willig’s latest series entry caught several eyes, though, as did J.D. Robb and Jo Beverley’s books. It also seems to be a month of good reissues – Roberta Gellis, Anne Stuart and Roseanne Bittner all have books being re-released this month. So, what books do you plan to curl up with come February?

It’s a sad month when the only book that catches my eye is a Superromance! (One that the reviewers didn’t even put on their eagerly awaiting list: Between Love and Duty by Janice Kay Johnson.)
Good thing I have a big TBR pile. LOL But I’ll check back with AAR as usual to get ideas based on their reviews. Thanks gals!
I’m very excited about the Sophie Kinsella book. I like her Shopaholic books more so than her stand alones, but I like the premise of this book. It’s similar to Theresa Medeiros’ Goodnight Tweetheart which I loved.
Count me in as another Lisa Kleypa’s fan and I cannot wait for Rainshadow Road too! Thanks Delia for the Nalini Singh reminder as well.
I believe that books published on the last Tuesday of the month are actually considered next month’s release. Lucky Penny by Catherine Anderson has a release date of 1/31 and it’s on the February list. Anything published on 2/28 is considered a March release. I’m looking forward to 2/28 because several of my favorite authors have books out:

Rainshadow Road by Lisa Kleypas
Nice Girls Don’t Bite Their Neighbors by Molly Harper
Redwood Bend by Robyn Carr
Wait a minute, where is Lisa Kleypas’ Rainshadow Road??? It comes out Feb. 28th and, considering she hasn’t published anything in over a year, it is very very eagerly awaited. :oO
I believe that Lucy March is the author Lani Diane Rich. So, I’m giving the book a try.
I didn’t know Elizabeth Hand had a new one coming out. Will be interested to see where she take Cass next.
Yum, there are some exciting titles here! I am particularly interested in Lauren Willig’s latest Pink Carnation book Jo Beverly’s ‘A Scandalous Countess’. ‘The Last Cahill Cowboy’ looks pretty good, too.
I am also looking forward to Not Wicked Enough by Carolyn Jewel (out 2/7) and Third Grave Dead Ahead by Daryanda Jones (out 1/31).
