We’re Buzzing About Books Around Here
We’re Buzzing about the books that you’re buzzing about. Since the launch of our Books with Buzz feature in 2009 we’ve featured Lisa Kleypas, Colleen Gleason, Mary Balogh, Charlaine Harris, Elizabeth Hoyt, Leslie Parrish, Meredith Duran, Sherry Thomas, and, of course, Laura Kinsale.
And there’s more buzzing to look forward to on Monday. What book and author will be in the spotlight? You’ll have to check back to find out.
But, in the meantime, we’d love to know what books you’d like to see featured here in the months ahead. So, suggestions? Wishes? We’d love to hear them.

Amazing things here. I’m very happy to peer your post. Thanks so much and I’m having a look ahead to touch you. Will you please drop me a mail?
It’s exhausting to search out knowledgeable people on this topic, but you sound like you already know what you’re talking about! Thanks
hey there, your web site is low cost. We do thank you for function
Hello would you mind letting me know which webhost you’re utilizing? I’ve loaded your blog in 3 completely different browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot quicker then most. Can you suggest a good internet hosting provider at a fair price? Cheers, I appreciate it!
Good day! Would you mind if I share your blog with my myspace group? There’s a lot of folks that I think would really enjoy your content. Please let me know. Thank you
Your blog won’t display correctly on my iphone 4 – you may want to try and repair that
With havin so much content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement? My site has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my authorization. Do you know any methods to help protect against content from being ripped off? I’d really appreciate it.
I didn’t like the fact that it had no USB ports and that I couldn’t transfer data without emailing it to myself. I ended up with a MacAir, which has all the features of a normal laptop, just a lot smaller, lighter and generally more portable. No more schlepping heavy laptops like some officer Sherpa.
The 11″ MacAir fits into most of my purses – yahoo!
Or key board :)
Interesting. I’ll admit to being intrigued by iPads, but don’t own one. I still use my laptop for everything but reading ebooks, and for that use my kindle. The iPad won’t work for me for a lot of the work-related stuff I do (statistical analyses, heavy writing/editing/etc.), so can’t give up my laptop. But for leisure-time activities, the iPad definitely sounds interesting, particularly with a keypad.
How about some words from Loretta Chase or Carla Kelly?
Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions!
To the multiple people who suggested Elizabeth Hoyt, we featured her in 2009. We will definitely get back to her again, but probably not in 2010.
Here’s a link to the piece for anyone interested:

There are already some great suggestions here. Maybe Joanna Bourne as well?
Seressia Glass has an awesome looking urban fantasy coming out in February.
I would really like to put my name in the hat for AAR interview with Lisa Valdez. Really curious as to why the delay of Patence.
I’d love to hear from Madeline Hunter about her upcoming series!
I second the rec of Lisa Valdez. She and her books, or lack thereof, have been the subject of countless online conversations for the past five years. I’d like to hear from her . . .
I’d also like to hear an update from Joanna Bourne (her next is due in June), Carrie Lofty and debut authors Kaki Warner and Sara Lindsey.
Patricia Briggs’ Masques is supposed to be out sometime this year.
Courtney Milan, since she’s a relatively new author. Also, Meljean Brook and Helen Brenna, since it would be nice to feature more different types of authors, paranormal and series authors respectively.
Pamela Clare or Tracy Grant. Tracy Grant has a new series of books coming out and I always love Clare’s work.
I ‘d love to hear from Jennifer Crusie, Carolyn Jewel or Judith Ivory!
P.S. Apparently I can’t count this morning — THREE authors to feature!
Apparently, the frigid -13 windchills have frozen my brain.
Louisa Edwards, Laura Moore, and Nina Bruhns would be two fantastic authors to feature!
I second Elizabeth Hoyt, she has a new trilogy called Maiden Lane coming out this year. So excited!
Also, Julie James, Victoria Dahl, Jennifer Ashley would be nice.
I would love to hear from Ilona Andrews.
I would love to hear from Elizabeth Hoyt!!
Hi Sandy,
I would love to hear from Nalini Singh and Marjorie Liu, as well as Laurel K. Hamilton, JR Ward, Suzanne Brockmann, and Jennifer Cruisie.
I think an interview with Lisa Valdez before Patience (finally!) comes out this Spring would be interesting. Also, Tessa Dare when her new series starts (I think in May?). Loved the Laura Kinsale interview!
